Welcome to Natasha Black Law PLLC. Natasha provides estate planning for families and individuals. Estate planning is a critical process to protect your assets and your loved ones during your life and after your death. Estate planning streamlines procedures and expenses related to death and incapacity, and is one of the best ways to help those who survive you with the difficult transition after your death. A good estate plan allows you to decide how your personal matters will be handled in circumstances you anticipate, and is flexible enough to allow those who survive you to make good decisions in accord with your wishes, even in circumstances you do not anticipate. Having a comprehensive estate plan in place will, I hope, help you achieve peace of mind. Generally, the core documents of an estate plan include a will (and sometimes a living trust), beneficiary designations for assets that don't pass under your will (such as life insurance and retirement plan accounts), powers of attorney for property and personal decisions, and a living will or healthcare directive (if you would like one). I invite you to take a look at answers to questions I am frequently asked about estate planning. |
